Bob
What about Bob?
November 2009
Bob is a wonderful funny boy. He has settled into an easy going routine where he enjoys following me around whether I am waking up my sons for school or going downstairs to do laundry. He has several stuff animals which he will carry around and offer to you when he wants to share. He is friendly with people but did not like the cable repair man. He will make grumpy noises when you trim his toenails but his daily walks keep his nails nice and short. He knows when there are cheese sticks in the house and will be a pest until he gets one. His favorite trick is to scratch at the door to go out and when you get up to let him out, he will run to the refrigerator to beg for one.
He still isn't good with small animals whether dogs or cats. His first instinct is to chase. He could live with another large breed female as long as the family makes sure that the introductions and transition are made correctly. He isn't crate trained and is a bit spoiled. He feels his place is on the couch and bed. He is an easy dog with hard headed tendencies. Your typical Neapolitan Mastiff who will rule the house if allowed.
He will do well with a family with children. He enjoys their company. He can be a bit rough with his play so he would do best with children over 8.
He has been in foster care for four months now. He is more than ready for his forever home. Please consider Bob for adoption. He will win your heart.
