Lindsay
My name is Lindsay. That's the name the SPCA gave me after they found me wandering the streets with an eye infection and after my pups were gone. I'm a very talkative mastiff. I've been with Neo Rescue for about 2 1/2 years. I think I am going to be 5 years old sometime this year. I was pretty upset about being in the kennel for so many months waiting for a home that I barked all the time and was a bit crazy around other dogs and noise. I missed my pups for a long time and every time I saw a puppy I would get all excited and drool on them!
Bob is a wonderful funny boy. He has settled into an easy going routine where he enjoys following me around whether I am waking up my sons for school or going downstairs to do laundry. He has several stuff animals which he will carry around and offer to you when he wants to share. He is friendly with people but did not like the cable repair man. He will make grumpy noises when you trim his toenails but his daily walks keep his nails nice and short. He knows when there are cheese sticks in the house and will be a pest until he gets one. His favorite trick is to scratch at the door to go out and when you get up to let him out, he will run to the refrigerator to beg for one.
Rosie is an approximately 3yr old spayed female. Rosie believes she is a QUEEN who was put on this planet to enjoy ALL the attention from her human family.
I would really love to stay with my foster mom forever and I love and trust her. I want to stay glued to her left side like we did in training because I know I can trust her and she will always protect me too. However, I also see how hard she works and how many other dogs like me are also looking for homes. She has told me that if she were to keep me that she could not help some of the others and I really want her to keep helping dogs like me get out of bad homes and into good ones so I think I will be okay. Oh, and mom has told me we will wait as long as it takes for the perfect home for me so that makes me feel very good.
This is Sophie. She was rescued from BC, Canada and comes to NRI via the SPCA. Her owners vacated their home and abandoned her there to fend for herself!
